True to form, for may years now, a familiar staff was on hand for the Blue-Grey All-American Combine (Desert Regional) at Ottawa University, with NFL veteran Jerome Daniels as lead instructor, joined by fellow one-time pros Patrick Hunter, Michael Bankston and Doug Powell.

There were many scholarship-worthy prospects in attendance and numerous others fit in that category. Below is a recap of some of the top performers and each is now considered as an All-American Bowl candidate for one of the upcoming games later on this year (details to follow).

Dylan Skrinar, 2028, QB, Marin Catholic (CA): The 6’0 and 185-pounder was the best out of this bunch. The future is bright.

Jon’te Jones, 2027, RB, Bradshaw Mountain (AZ): Shifty and elusive, quick and fast, the 6’0 and 195-pounder can do it all.

Daryl Little, 2028, WR, Thunderbird (AZ): The 6’0 and 180-pounder has offers from Oregon State and Northern Arizona.

Jesus Navarro, 2028, OL, Alhambra (AZ): Big and strong, with improving athleticism, the 6’6 and 290-pounder opened up eyes.

Kiaun Davison, 2027, DB, Millennium (AZ): The 5’10 and 160-pounder didn’t back down from anyone. Or anything, really.

Ryan Lee, 2028, LB, McClintock (AZ): Tough as they come, and rangy at times, the 6’1 and 225-pounder left a lasting impression.

Brady Stiegler, 2027, DL, Coconino (AZ): The 6’5 and 210-pounder turned plenty of heads and was a favorite of the coaching staff.

Worth mentioning, periodically and often within days, more information about the workout will be added in this space. That said, feel free to check back on a regular basis for the much-needed insight.

A bit later in the summer, invitations will be extended to one of the brand’s upcoming All-American Bowls held at NFL stadium and nationally broadcast on ESPN’s family of networks or YouTube.

Games take place at Cowboys’ AT&T Stadium, Buccaneers’ Raymond James Stadium, Falcons’ Mercedes Benz Stadium, Texans’ NRG Stadium or Jaguars’ EverBank Field, among other venues. 

Moving forward, the Blue-Grey Football Selection Committee will consider a number of different factors before making any decision on potential invites to the All-American Bowl. Stay tuned.
