Blue-Grey All-American Combine: Desert Super Regional Scouting Report (2024)
Safe to say, a well-rounded staff was in place for the Blue-Grey All-American Combine (Desert Super Regional) at Ottawa University, with NFL veteran Jerome Daniels as lead instructor and he was joined by fellow one-time pros Patrick Hunter, Darryl Clack and Doug Powell.
Although there were many scholarship-worthy prospects in attendance, numerous others fit in that category. Below is a recap of some of the top performers and each is now considered as an All-American Bowl candidate for one of the upcoming games later on this year.
Brandon Brown, RB, 2025, American Leadership Academy (AZ): The 5’11 and 195-pounder opened up plenty of eyes and left a lasting impression.
Brayden Munday, RB, 2025, Bradshaw Mountain (AZ): No stranger here, the 5’10 and 170-pounder impressed for the second time in as many years.
Tremaine Turner, WR, 2026, Dobson (AZ): Good size and athleticism, sky’s the limit on both sides of the ball for the 6’3 and 190-pounder.
Latavis Walker, WR, 2026, Buena (AZ): The 6’0 and 180-pounder was competitive and did not back down from anyone or anything.
Camren Durfee, OL, 2025, Centennial (AZ): The 6’0 and 305-pounder is a good fit for a school such as Northern Arizona, among others.
Alon Deon, DB, 2026, Salpointe Catholic (AZ): College is next for the 5’11 and 175-pounder, maybe in the Mountain West Conference.
Kydel Stone, DB, 2026, Saguaro (AZ): The 6’2″ and 180-pound could prove to be the best of this entire bunch, when all is said and done.
Carlos Montoya, LB, 2025, Walden Grove (AZ): The 5’9 and 210-pounder had a motor that didn’t stop, he never took a play, or down off.
Quentin Sweet, DL, 2025, Casteel (AZ): The 6’1 and 235-pounder is destined for the next level, perhaps in the Big Sky Conference.

Additionally, likely late in the summer, invitations will be extended to one of the brand’s upcoming All-American Bowls held at NFL stadium and nationally broadcast on ESPN’s family of networks.
Games take place at Cowboys’ AT&T Stadium, Buccaneers’ Raymond James Stadium, Falcons’ Mercedes Benz Stadium, Texans’ NRG Stadium or Jaguars’ EverBank Field, among other venues.
Moving forward, the Blue-Grey Football Selection Committee will consider a number of different factors before making any decision on potential invites to the All-American Bowl. Stay tuned.
