A home away from home, the Blue-Grey All-American Combine (Heartland Regional) once again took place at the Kansas City Chiefs’ Training Facility (MO). And similar to year’s past, NFL veteran Arlen Harris was lead instructor on Missouri Western State University’s campus.

There were many scholarship-worthy prospects in attendance and numerous others fit in that category. Below is a recap of some of the top performers and each is now considered an All-American Bowl candidate for one of the games later on this year (details to follow).

Bryis Alford, 2027, QB, Baldwin (KS): The 6’0 and 185-pounder has been in contact with Coastal Carolina, among others.

Ta’Vren Williams, 2027, QB, North Point (MO): Tulsa could be an ideal potential landing spot for the 6’1 and 170-pounder.

K.J. Smith, 2028, RB, Timberland (MO): The 5’11 and 180-pounder earned the respect of his peers and proved he belonged.

Dari’Auntay Elliott, 2027, RB, Raytown (MO): Quick and fast, strong and durable, the 5’8 and 174-pounder did particularly well.

Landon Coleman, 2028, RB, Timberland (MO): Capable of playing really anywhere, the 5-10 and 170-pounder can do it all.

Keon Allen, 2027, RB, Metamora (IL): The 6’0 and 200-pounder could be a good fit in the Missouri Valley Football Conference.

DeAndre Jones, 2027, WR, Timberland (MO): Most times, no one could find a way to stop or limit the 5’10 and 175-pounder.

Dee Carruthers, 2027, WR, Massac County (IL): The 6’0 and 185-pounder had good size, speed and strength. The future is bright.

Caden Ford, 2027, OL, Timberland (MO): Missouri and Minnesota are in the mix for the 6’6 and 290-pounder, who has multiple offers.

Braylen Coleman, 2028, DB, Webb City (MO): The 6’1 and 175-pounder was fearless and didn’t back down from anyone. Or anything.

Israel Nelson, 2027, DB, Raytown (MO): The 5’11 and 176-pounder appears to be on the radar Northern Illinois. Keep an eye on him.

Drew Bradford, 2027, LB, Massac County (IL): The 6’1 and 200-pounder held his own against running backs and tight ends.

Brody Barker, 2027, LB, Lebanon (MO): Tough and determined, the 5’11 and 185-pounder left a lasting on impression on many.

Jake Tell, 2027, DL, Jensen Beach (FL): The 6’3 and 215-pounder could be a target of Central Florida and South Florida.

Gavin Herbers, 2027, DL, Timberland (MO): A man among boys, the 6’5 and 245-pounder is destined to play at the next level.

Caden Boyer, 2027, DL, Gretna East (NE): The 6’1 and 250-pounder was a force to be reckon with down deep in the trenches.

Wyatt Kepley, 2027, DL, Labette County (KS): Pound for pound, the 5’11 and 225-pounder matched up well against opponents.

Brody Fetters, 2028, DL, Central (MO): The 6’1 and 245-pounder is going to be trouble by the time he’s finally an upperclassman.

A bit later in the summer, invitations will be extended to one of the brand’s upcoming All-American Bowls held at NFL stadium and nationally broadcast on ESPN’s family of networks or YouTube.

Games take place at Cowboys’ AT&T Stadium, Buccaneers’ Raymond James Stadium, Falcons’ Mercedes Benz Stadium, Texans’ NRG Stadium or Jaguars’ EverBank Field, among other venues. 

Moving forward, the Blue-Grey Football Selection Committee will consider a number of different factors before making any decision on potential invites to the All-American Bowl. Stay tuned.
