Brayden Auguste

MAC target Brayden Auguste was among many prospects on hand at the Blue-Grey All-American Combine (Kentucky Regional).

Back again, in a familiar setting and accompanied by several college coaches, the Blue-Grey All-American Combine (Kentucky Regional) at Centre College (KY) turned out to be memorable event, with several standout players.

There were many scholarship-worthy prospects in attendance and numerous others fit in that category. Below is a recap of some of the top performers and each is now considered as an All-American Bowl candidate for one of the upcoming games later on this year (details to follow).

Matthew Eldridge, 2027 QB, Cookeville (TN): The 6’0 and 170-pounder went out and proved that he was an unquestioned leader.

Charles Oglesby, 2027, RB, Holy Cross (KY): Eastern Kentucky could be a potential landing spot for the  5’9 and 200-pounder.

Brayden Auguste, 2028, RB, Lakota East (OH): The 5’10 and 190-pounder seems destined to be a Mid-American Conference target.

Brendan Dobbs, 2027, TE, Western Hills (KY): A program like UT Martin might end up being a good fit for the 6’3 and 220-pounder.

Julius Jessup, 2027, OL, Fort Campbell (KY): The 6’3 and 260-pounder was difficult to deal with in the trenches. Remember his name.

Smyth Dunaway, 2027, DB, Mars Area (PA): Big and strong, quick and fast, the 6’1 and 175 turned some heads in this setting.

Damontre Cherry, 2028, DB, Louisville Central (KY): In time, the 5’8 and 160-pounder figures to be the top prospect of this bunch.

Bishop Burch, 2027, DB, Medina (OH): The 5’11 and 165-pounder didn’t back down from anyone. Or anything, in fact.

Levi Clemmons, 2028, LB, Rockcastle County (KY): The 6’0 and 230-pounder is destined to play on Saturdays at the next level.

Donovon Strickland, 2027, LB, Louisville Trinity (KY): Without a doubt, the 5’10 and 205-pounder left a lasting impression on coaches.

Brody Miller, 2029, DL, Unioto (OH): The 6’4 and 225-pounder is young and still growing, that’s a scary thought. Sky’s the limit.
