With multiple NFL veterans serving as lead instructors, along with several collegiate coaches on hand, the Blue-Grey All-American Combine (Northeast Regional) at the Pro Football Hall of Fame in Canton (OH) exceeded expectations. And then some. What a turnout and event.
There were many scholarship-worthy prospects in attendance and numerous others fit in that category. Below is a recap of some of the top performers and each is now considered as an All-American Bowl candidate for one of the upcoming games later on this year (details to follow).
Myles Arnold, 2027, QB, Pickerington North (OH): The 6’3 and 185-pounder proved he could make all the throws.
Landon Echelberry, 2028, QB, Clay (OH): Toledo could be a potential landing spot for the 6’2 and 215-pounder.
Dyionn Tutwiler, 2027, RB, Liberty (OH): The 6’0 and 200-pounder opened up plenty of eyes, that’s for sure. He’s one to watch.
Leon Cummings, 2028, RB, Gahanna Lincoln (OH): Versatile as they come, there was plenty to like about the 5’9 and 190-pounder.
Andyriq Thomas, 2027, RB, Pickerington North (OH): The 5’9 and 195-pounder already has multiple offers. This list will increase, too.
Logan Russell, 2027, RB, Sheridan (OH): Miami Ohio is firmly on the radar for the 6’2 and 197-pounder, who also plays on defense.
Potter Brozeski, 2027, WR, Norwin (PA): The 6’4 and 185-pounder caught everything thrown in his direction. His time is coming.
Griffin Hudson, 2027, WR, Meigs (OH): Elusive and fast, the 5’9 and 175-pounder made the difficult catches seem almost routine.
Landon Coffee, 2028, TE, West Branch (OH): The 6’6 and 218-pounder could not be stopped, most times. Sky’s the limit for him.
Josh Jensen, 2028, DB, Willoughby South (OH): Tough and determined, the 6’0 and 175-pounder did particularly well in coverage.
Christian Thomas, 2028, DB, Pickerington Central (OH): The 6’0 and 170-pounder didn’t back down from anyone or anything.
Jayden Hamlette, 2027, LB, North Cobb (GA): There was plenty to like about the skill set in possession of the 5’11 and 210-pounder.
Brock McMullen, 2027, LB, Greensburg Central Catholic (PA): The 6’2 and 208-pounder turned heads. College ball is next for him.
Howard Bates, 2027, LB, Gahanna Lincoln (OH): An unquestioned leader, the 5’9 and 210-pounder earned the respect of his peers.
Shamarion Coleman, 2027, LB, East (OH): The 6’0 and 210-pounder was tough, an enforcer. No question, he got the job done.
Demetrius Curtis, 2028, LB, Pickerington North (OH): Relentless, the 5’10 and 170-pounder has a great motor. All gas, no brakes.
Sawyer McMillin, 2027, DL, Midview (OH): Bowling Green and Ohio have eyes on the 6’2 and 230-pounder and rightfully so.
Steven McHenry, 2027, DL, Rocky River (OH): The 6’2 and 242-pounder is destined to play on Saturdays. You heard it here first.

A bit later in the summer, invitations will be extended to one of the brand’s upcoming All-American Bowls held at NFL stadium and nationally broadcast on ESPN’s family of networks or YouTube.
Games take place at Cowboys’ AT&T Stadium, Buccaneers’ Raymond James Stadium, Falcons’ Mercedes Benz Stadium, Texans’ NRG Stadium or Jaguars’ EverBank Field, among other venues.
Moving forward, the Blue-Grey Football Selection Committee will consider a number of different factors before making any decision on potential invites to the All-American Bowl. Stay tuned.
