Blue-Grey All-American Combine: Northeast Super Scouting Report (2020)
With an NFL veteran trainer coaching staff in place to provide instruction, headed by Rodney Beasley, success was inevitable at the Blue-Grey All-American Combine (Northeast Super).
Similar to year’s past, with his playing days at Ohio State now behind him, John Holman was another one of the many professionals in attendance to pass along his knowledge of the game.
There were many scholarship-worthy recruits on hand and each one of them deserved to be mentioned. Accordingly, what follows next in this space are a few highlights from the workout.
Judah Holtzclaw, QB, 2021, Westerville Central (OH): The 6-foot-6 and 220-pounder has talked with Houston and Northern Iowa. Under consideration for an All-American Bowl invite.
Caleb Jacob, QB, 2021, Covington Catholic (KY): With an offer from Morehead State and some interest from Marshall, the 6-4 and 221-pounder is destined to play on Saturdays. Under consideration for an All-American Bowl invite.
Shane Hamm, QB, 2021, Archbishop Hoban (OH): The 6-foot and 200-pounder recently picked up a scholarship from Dayton and there’s some dialogue with teams in the MAC. Under consideration for an All-American Bowl invite.
Cameron Hergott, QB, 2021, Beechwood (KY): Schools from the Pioneer Football League jumped on the bandwagon of the 6-2 and 190-pounder. Offers figure to soon follow suit. Under consideration for an All-American Bowl invite.
Kevin Eiseman, QB, 2021, Villa Angela St. Joseph (OH): The 6-4 and 190-pounder has engaged in a couple conversations with Bowling Green and Western Michigan, worth noting. Under consideration for an All-American Bowl invite.
Austin Myers, QB, 2021, New Boston (MI): Youngstown State and Toledo have kept in contact with the 6-4 and 210-pounder and the situation is one to keep a close eye on. Under consideration for an All-American Bowl invite.
Logyn Ratliff, QB, 2021, New Lexington (OH): A late addition, but certainly worth the wait, the 6-2 and 175-pounder was determined to prove he belonged. Mission accomplished. Under consideration for an All-American Bowl invite.
Thomas Richardson, QB, 2022, Gilmour Academy (OH): Youngstown State was one of the first interested in the 6-3 and 200-pounder, and nowadays, same goes for MAC programs. This time next year, watch out. Sky’s the limit.
Jahmir Ackerson, RB, 2021, Newport Central Catholic (KY): The 5-10 and 210-pounder managed to land an offer from Morehead State. Eastern Kentucky could be the next one. Under consideration for an All-American Bowl invite.
Devon Hunter, RB, 2021, Avon (OH): The 6-foot and 205-pounder was in communication with Butler and Valparaiso, but perhaps more importantly Toledo. Details to follow. Under consideration for an All-American Bowl invite.
Jordan Ferguson, RB, 2021, Jeffersonville (IN): Fast and physical, well-rounded too, the 5-8 and 165-pounder could be a good fit with a school such as Southern Illinois. Under consideration for an All-American Bowl invite.
Jovan Goodson, RB, 2021, Ginn Academy (OH): The 5-9 and 190-pounder did well in this setting. George Rivers from Leonardtown (MD) fell in the same kind of category. Under consideration for an All-American Bowl invite.
Travon Moore, RB, 2021, Eastern (KY): The 6-foot and 190-pounder turned heads. Jason Howard from Graham (OH) deserved an acknowledgement, as well. Both are under consideration for an All-American Bowl invite.
Asian Burt, WR, 2021, St. Thomas Aquinas (OH): Akron and Ball State seems to have their respective sights on the 6-1 and 175-pounder. Rightfully so. He’s the real deal. Under consideration for an All-American Bowl invite.
Anthony Smith, WR, 2021, Martinsburg (WV): The 6-1 and 180-pounder appears poised to contribute somewhere in the Pioneer Football League, perhaps with Valparaiso. Under consideration for an All-American Bowl invite.
Matthew Spofford, WR, 2021, Riverside (OH): The 6-3 and 205-pounder has offers from Eastern Illinois, Morehead State and Valparaiso. Akron and Kent State are in the mix too. Under consideration for an All-American Bowl invite.
Jordan Dean, WR, 2021, Villa Angela St. Joseph (OH): All signs point to the 6-2 and 175-pounder being on the board of nearby Ohio. Stay tuned for more details on the situation. Under consideration for an All-American Bowl invite.
Brandon McClendon, WR, 2021, Covington Holy Cross (KY): The 5-10 and 175-pounder did well, with Dedrick Hamilton from Ballard (KY) and T.J. Bedwell from Columbia City (IN). All are under consideration for an All-American Bowl invite.
Eli Archer, TE, 2021, Huntington (WV): Air Force and Marshall have noticed something special in the 6-4 and 235-pounder and it’s only a matter of time before others realize that. Under consideration for an All-American Bowl invite.
Alex Padgett, OL, 2021, Avon Lake (OH): A Bowling Green commit, the 6-6 and 320-pounder was in a class all his own. Some might say a man among boys. He dominated. Under consideration for an All-American Bowl invite.
Jack Greene, OL, 2021, Newport Central Catholic (KY): A target of teams in the MAC, the 6-4 and 280-pounder possesses the skill set that coaches look for at the next level. Under consideration for an All-American Bowl invite.
Deaven Francis, OL, 2021, Parkersburg (WV): No question about it, the 6-9 and 315-pounder passed the eye test. No real surprise, he’s recently been in contact with Marshall. Under consideration for an All-American Bowl invite.
Jack Bayless, OL, 2021, Covington Holy Cross (KY): The 6-3 and 275-pounder could land with Boston College or Cincinnati. Safe to say, the options continue to increase. Under consideration for an All-American Bowl invite.
Dylan Yowell, OL, 2021, Riverside (OH): The 6-5 and 290-pounder was difficult to deal with down deep in the trenches. From start to finish, it should be clearly stated. Under consideration for an All-American Bowl invite.
Timothy Atwell, OL, 2021, Hart County (KY): The 6-4 and 300-pounder gave opponents fits throughout. When all was said and done, he earned the respect of his peers. Under consideration for an All-American Bowl invite.
Jacob Vasko, OL, 2021, Benedictine (OH): A center, on the roster, but unable to attend, the 6-3 and 255-pounder has talked with Eastern Illinois and Youngstown State. Under consideration for an All-American Bowl invite.
Caden Marinacci, OL, 2021, Heath (OH): Similar to Vasko, the 6-2 and 275-pounder couldn’t make it due to prior circumstances. Still, he remains firmly on the radar. Under consideration for an All-American Bowl invite.
Jaylen Castleberry, DB, 2021, St. Edward (OH): The 6-1 and 180-pounder has multiple scholarships in place as of now, perhaps the most notable being Eastern Illinois. Under consideration for an All-American Bowl invite.
Jaden Hurd, DB, 2021, Wayne (OH): Cincinnati and Kentucky are, apparently fans of the 5-10 and 190-pounder. Rightfully so after seeing him in action in this environment. Under consideration for an All-American Bowl invite.
Chris Gales, DB, 2021, Benedictine (OH): The 6-1 and 195-pounder was in contact with Akron and Toledo. It could be a mere matter of time before he lands an offer, or two. Under consideration for an All-American Bowl invite.
Jordan Smith, DB, 2021, Lexington (TN): Florida International and Southern Illinois, among many others, could be potential destinations for the 6-foot and 175-pounder. Under consideration for an All-American Bowl invite.
Joe Green, DB, 2021, Tecumseh (OH): The 6-1 and 195-pounder has feelers from the likes of Eastern Kentucky and Murray State. This is about to get interesting. Under consideration for an All-American Bowl invite.
Aaron Foster, DB, 2022, Colerain (OH): The 5-10 and 170-pounder left a lasting impression on most everyone around, as did Robert Wickliffe from Ballard (KY). Both are under consideration for an All-American Bowl invite.
Taylor Jordan, LB, 2021, Bellbrook (OH): The 6-1 and 195-pounder has an offer from Dayton. That’s only the start, too. His stock is on the rise. You heard it here first. Under consideration for an All-American Bowl invite.
Luke Czerepak, LB, 2021, Ramapo (NJ): At the second level, against running backs and tight ends alike, the 6-foot and 175-pounder was able to go out and get the job done. Under consideration for an All-American Bowl invite.
Jonathan Bruder, LB, 2021, Centerville (OH): The 5-10 and 202-pounder endeared himself to the coaching staff, same thing goes for Clay Dean from Windham (OH). Both are under consideration for an All-American Bowl invite.
Gage Adkins, LB, 2021, Wheelersburg (OH): The 6-1 and 190-pounder lived up to lofty expectations. Corey Flanders from Archbishop Alter (OH) too, he did particularly well. Both are under consideration for an All-American Bowl invite.
Thomas Aden, DL, 2021, St. Edward (OH): Teams from the MAC are interested in the 6-2 and 285-pounder. Chances are, other conferences will soon fall in line. Under consideration for an All-American Bowl invite.
Jadairion Smith, DL, 2022, Ballard (KY): On the roster, but unable to line up, the 6-4 and 226-pounder has a handful of offers already, Kent State and Toledo to name a few. He very well could end up being the best of the entire bunch.
William Oldaker, DL, 2021, Reedsville Eastern (OH): The 6-3 and 250-pounder grabbed attention early and kept up the momentum, also Taylor Childers Western Hills (KY). Both are under consideration for an All-American Bowl invite.
Aiden Jackson, DL, 2021, Eastern (KY): With a motor that did not stop, the 6-2 and 285-pounder delivered results, along with Eli Franks from McComb Local (OH). Both are under consideration for an All-American Bowl invite.

Each member of Red Zone Prospects receives an automatic invite to one of the brand’s All-American Combines (Super Regional level), all of them to be held at NFL venues or college facilities
Additionally, those who do well in that setting, in due time, could be invited to one of the brand’s All-American Bowls held at NFL stadium and nationally broadcast on ESPN’s family of networks.
Games take place at Cowboys’ AT&T Stadium, Buccaneers’ Raymond James Stadium, Falcons’ Mercedes Benz Stadium, Texans’ NRG Stadium or Jaguars’ EverBank Field, among other venues.
Moving forward, the Blue-Grey Football Selection Committee will consider a number of different factors before making any decision on potential invites to the All-American Bowl. Stay tuned.
