Blue-Grey All-American Combine: Rocky Mountain Super Regional Scouting Report (2024)
With a well-rounded staff of NFL veteran coaches on hand, the many recruits assembled at the Blue-Grey All-American Combine (Rocky Mountain Super Regional) had the opportunity to learn from some individuals who have played at the highest level, on Sundays.
One-time professional Ken Stills was the lead instructor, similar to many times in the past. He had plenty of help along the way, from colleagues such as Ashley Ambriose, Dimitri Stanley, Nick Williams and Casey Roddick. What a collection of knowledge, indeed.
Although there were many scholarship-worthy prospects in attendance, numerous others fit in that category. Below is a recap of some of the top performers. Each of them is now considered as an All-American Bowl candidate for one of the upcoming games later on this year.
Caeden Herrera, QB, 2026, Pueblo South (CO): An underclassman, the 6’3 and 187-pounder went out on the field and held his own.
James Basinger, RB, 2025, Columbine (CO): The 5’10 and 195-pounder did well and would be a good fit with in the Big Sky Conference.
Will Moore, RB, 2025, Colorado Springs Christian (CO): The 5’10 and 190-pounder is durable, has good hands, and a capable blocker.
Ian Pennock, RB, 2025, Severance (CO): North Dakota State and South Dakota State have contacted the 5’10 and 185-pounder.
Eli Schuknecht, RB, 2026, Buena Vista (CO): Big and strong, with above-average athleticism, sky’s the limit for the 6’1 and 190-pounder.
Slater Warren, OL, 2025, Mesa Ridge (CO): Set to play in college, the 6’3 and 250-pounder could land in the Mountain West Conference.
Luis Guerra, OL, 2025, Falcon (CO): Fast and physical, there’s plenty to like with the total body of work for the 6’3 and 265-pounder.
Wyatt Hunter, OL, 2025, Prairie View (CO): The 6’2 and 255-pounder was a force to be reckon with, especially down in the trenches.
Deondre Green, OL, 2026, Mesa Ridge (CO): When all is said and done, the 6’3 and 280-pounder might end up as the best of this bunch.
Marquis Jamison, DB, 2025, Cherokee Trail (CO): It might be time for Northern Colorado to take a look at the 6’0 and 170-pounder.
Lucas Westerman, LB, 2025, Liberty (CO): Running backs or tight ends, it didn’t matter, the 5’11 and 170-pounder was up to the task.
Brett Haile, LB, 2025, Chaparral (CO): A competitor though and through, the 5’11 and 220-pounder was up for anyone and anything.
Cade Brook, DL, 2025, Cherokee Trail (CO): Colorado and Colorado State could possibly secure a pledge from the 6’3 and 215-pounder.
Kafui Fiadonu, DL, 2025, D’Evelyn (CO): Athletic as they come, with tremendous strength, the 6-1, 235-pounder checked all the boxes.
