Blue-Grey All-American Combine: Rocky Mountain Super Scouting Report (2023)
With a star-studded staff of NFL veteran coaches on hand, the real beneficiaries at the Blue-Grey All-American Combine (Rocky Mountain Super) were the prospects at the workout, that naturally, learned from some of the best in the business. What a turnout.
One-time professional Seneca Wallace was the lead instructor, similar to many times in the past. Colleagues such as Daniel Graham and Jamar Cain also passed along their knowledge of the game. Each had the attention of everyone around, from start to finish of course.
Although there were many scholarship-worthy prospects in attendance, numerous others fit in that category. Below is a recap of some of the top performers and each is now considered as an All-American Bowl candidate for one of the upcoming games later on this year.
Ben Roden, QB, 2024, Nonnewaug (CT): The 6’3 and 185-pounder was in contact with Miami (OH) and UConn, among others.
Jaden Lawrence, RB, 2025, Legend (CO): Regardless of class distinction, the 6’0 and 180-pounder could be the best of this bunch.
Chevelle Early, RB, 2024, Denver South (CO): The 5’8 and 195-pounder was quick and fast, elusive as well, also strong and explosive.
Carter Thorp, RB, 2024 Falcon (CO): Extremely versatile, on the ground, or in the air, there’s a lot to like about the 6’0 and 195-pounder.
Knyle Serrell, RB, 2024, Gateway (CO): The 6’0 and 170-pounder was athletic, but perhaps even better, he possessed a high football IQ.
Anthony Blan-Mendenhall, WR, 2024 Fort Lupton (CO): After passing the eye test, the 6’0 and 175-pounder flashed in this setting.
Kylan Studebaker, DB 2024, Legacy (CO): The 6’0 and 180-pounder was determined to make a name for himself. Mission accomplished.
Johnathan Gonzales, DB, 2024, Pueblo County (CO): Never one to back down from a challenge, the 6’2 and 175-pounder impressed.
Omari Bursey, LB, 2024, Legacy (CO): Colorado State or Wyoming just might be potential landing spots for the 6’1 and 227-pounder.
George Soppe, LB, 2024, Green Mountain (CO): Good frame, and better athleticism, the 6’2 and 191-pounder opened up some eyes.
Benjamin Iannotti, LB 2024, Bear Creek (CO): With a nose for the ball, the 5’9 and 190-pounder made plays from sideline to sideline.
Caleb Meehan, LB, 2024, Broomfield (CO): On campus at Kansas State, next stop is football on Saturdays for the 6’0 and 205-pounder.
Karter Tolsma, LB, 2024, Alamosa (CO): Put together, with more than enough agility, the 6’1 and 198-pounder is well-rounded.
DaMarri Russell, DL, 2024, Bear Creek (CO): Good size, with room to add bulk and weight, the 6’4 and 219-pounder turned heads.
Miles Johnson, DL, 2024, Manual (CO): The 6’3 and 217-pounder can play on either side of the ball, but seems destined for defense.
Mikey Trujillo, DL, 2024, Alamosa (CO): Determined, and still growing, the future is certainly bright for the 6’4 and 215-pounder.
