Blue-Grey Jersey Presentation Tour: Ely Doyle
Every year, moreover right around this time, the staff from Blue-Grey Football, with a collection of NFL veterans and administrators, hits the road on the brand’s nationwide Jersey Presentation Tour.
The goal is to promote the All-American Bowl and a select few of the nation’s top prospects in the Class of 2018 are recognized in front of family and friends. The community in general, to that end.
Four games soon take place, each of them at an NFL venue, those being Dallas Cowboys’ AT&T Stadium, Tampa Bay Buccaneers’ Raymond James Stadium and Jacksonville Jaguars’ EverBank Field.
The action from the All-American Bowl will be nationally broadcast on either ESPN3 or Impact Football Network (please check your local listings). Also, similar to year’s past, the footage will be permanently archived.
Arizona State commit Ely Doyle from Alemany (CA) recently received an acknowledgement. The 6-foot-1 and 185-pound defensive back was selected to line up for the West vs. East on Jan. 22 at AT&T Stadium.
Doyle was the state’s No. 69 recruit in the 247Sports Composite Rankings, an accurate indicator of talent considering the tool takes into account evaluations of all the major recruiting services.
Approximately one year ago, and then again a few short months ago, Doyle caught the attention of the Blue-Grey Football Selection Committee, specifically speaking NFL veteran Mark McMillian.
After talking with his prep circuit coach, fellow one-time professional James Washington, and receiving a ringing endorsement, it was a no-brainer decision for McMillian & Co. to extend an invite to Doyle.
In between now, and then, he was a hot commodity. Several colleges from around the country were interested in a potential commitment, including those from the Big Ten Conference and ACC.
Doyle decided to stay close to home, thus the pledge to the Sun Devils. Odds are, he’ll contribute right away in Tempe. Morevover, he figures to provide a glimpse of the future at the All-American Bowl.
Editor’s note: Each participant in the All-American Bowl will receive a Jersey Presentation during All-American Bowl Weekend with plenty of media in attendance, both national and local.
