Blue-Grey Jersey Presentation Tour: Jozie Milton
Every year, moreover right around this time, the staff from Blue-Grey Football, with a collection of NFL veterans and administrators, hits the road on the brand’s nationwide Jersey Presentation Tour.
The goal is to promote the All-American Bowl and a select few of the nation’s top prospects in the Class of 2015 are recognized in front of family and friends. The community in general, to that end.
Two games soon take place, it’s worth mentioning, each located at a well-known NFL venue, more specifically Dallas Cowboys’ AT&T Stadium and Tampa Bay Buccaneers’ Raymond James Stadium.
All the action will be nationally broadcast on either ESPN3 or Impact Football Network (please check your local listings). Also, similar to year’s past, the footage will be permanently archived.
Jozie Milton from Silliman Institute (LA) is in the spotlight here. With the lights shining bright naturally, NFL veteran J.J. McCleskey was in attendance for the big man’s memorable moment.
A TCU commit, the 6-foot-3 and 295-pound offensive lineman will suit up for the East vs. West on Dec. 14 at AT&T Stadium and it would not be a surprise to see him be a difference in the showdown.
Milton was the state’s No. 37 player overall in the 247Sports Composite Rankings, by and large an accurate talent indicator as the tool considers evaluations of all the major recruiting services.
A one-time South Carolina commit, and looking for the best possible fit, he recently opened up the recruiting process. Given the options, there was good reason to explore his options.
With scholarships in place from seemingly everyone around, programs located in the SEC, ACC, Pac-12 Conference, Big Ten Conference, Big 12 Conference, the final decision was important.
Georgia was a player at one point. Same thing can be said about Louisville. Arizona State was another one. Iowa had an outside shot. Oklahoma State was in the running, too.
Still, before he lines up and takes the first snap for the Horned Frogs, Milton has some unfinished business to attend to. That being, of course, playing in the All-American Bowl.
Editor’s note: Each participant in the game will receive a Jersey Presentation during All-American Bowl Weekend with plenty of media in attendance, both on the national and local level.
