Blue-Grey Jersey Presentation Tour: Kedrick James
Every year, moreover right around this time, the staff from Blue-Grey Football, with a collection of NFL veterans and administrators, hits the road on the brand’s nationwide Jersey Presentation Tour.
The goal is to promote the All-American Bowl and a select few of the country’s top prospects in the Class of 2017 are recognized in front of family and friends. The community in general, to that end.
Three games soon take place, and each of them at an NFL venue, more specifically speaking at Dallas Cowboys’ AT&T Stadium, Jacksonville Jaguars’ EverBank Field and Oakland Raiders’ Coliseum.
The action from the All-American Bowl will be nationally broadcast on ESPN3 or Impact Football Network (check your local listings). Similar to year’s past, the footage will be permanently archived.
Accordingly, the focus this time is on Kedrick James from La Vegas (TX) and the 6-foot-5 and 240-pound tight end will be uniform for the East vs. West on Dec. 22 at AT&T Stadium.
The Alabama commit was rated as a four-star prospect in the 247Sports Composite Rankings, an accurate talent indicator that takes into account evaluations of all major recruiting services.
As one can imagine, he had a laundry list of potential suitors before the pledge. James had close to 20 scholarships, most from the Big Ten Conference, Big 12 Conference and ACC.
In the end, however, playing for the Crimson Tide appeared to be best possible fit. Still, before setting foot on campus in Tuscaloosa (AL), he’ll line up in the brand’s All-American Bowl.
