Blue-Grey Jersey Presentation Tour: Keegan Shoemaker
Every year, moreover right around this time, the staff from Blue-Grey Football hits the road on the brand’s nationwide Jersey Presentation Tour with a collection of NFL veterans and administrators.
The goal is to promote the All-American Bowl and a select few of the nation’s top prospects in the Class of 2019 are recognized in front of family and friends. The community in general, to that end.
Four games take place on a yearly basis, each of them at an NFL venue, including Dallas Cowboys’ AT&T Stadium, Tampa Bay Buccaneers’ Raymond James Stadium and Houston Texans’ NRG Stadium.
The action from the All-American Bowl will be nationally broadcast on either ESPN3 or Impact Football Network (check your local listings). Also, similar to year’s past, the footage is permanently archived.
Keegan Shoemaker from Prosper (TX) recently received an acknowledgement. The 6-foot-3 and 185-pound quarterback was selected to line up for the West vs. East on Jan. 29 at AT&T Stadium.
Seemingly a longtime target of teams in several conferences, Lafayette emerged as a frontrunner for a potential pledge, and not long ago, the Leopards landed a commitment from him.
Prior to the all-important decision about where to play on Saturdays, Shoemaker was courted by several schools, including Stephen F. Austin and Texas State, among a handful of other potential suitors.
No surprise, he is equipped with a profile on the 247Sports Composite Rankings, an accurate indicator of talent considering the tool takes into account evaluations of the major recruiting services.
Now, with a future path cleared for success, it will be interesting to watch his journey. First things first, however, Shoemaker will play in his finale on the prep circuit during the All-American Bowl.
Editor’s note: Each participant in the annual game will take part in the Jersey Presentation Tour during All-American Bowl Weekend with plenty of media in attendance, on both the national and local levels.
