Blue-Grey All-American Combine: Florida Super Regional Scouting Report (2024)
Two workouts in two days. Both in the Sunshine State. Safe to say, NFL veteran Ken Stills and professional trainer Keon Thorpe were busy scouting talent at the Blue-Grey All-American Combine (Central Florida and Tampa Super Regionals). And the recap is here.
Although there were many scholarship-worthy prospects in attendance, numerous others fit in that category. Below is a recap of some of the top performers and each is now considered as an All-American Bowl candidate for one of the upcoming games later on this year.
Benjamin Henry, QB, 2025, Rickards (FL): The 6’1 and 190-pounder was clearly the premier player at his position.
Nikitas Rinios, RB, 2025, Tarpon Springs (FL): Shifty, quick and fast, the 5’8 and 175-pounder left a lasting impression.
Joshua Tyson-Gueh, WR, 2025, Plant City (FL): The 5’11 and 175-pounder was explosive and essentially without peer in athleticism.
Don’yea Johnson, TE, 2025, Citrus (FL): A big target, the 6’3 and 210-pounder caught just about anything thrown in his general direction.
Kendrick Smith, LB, 2026, Avant Garde Academy (FL): The 6’1 and 200-pounder, underclassman or not, could be best of the bunch.
Derrick Small, DL, 2025, First Coast (FL): Good size, and strong, the 6’3 and 210-pounder opened up plenty of eyes in this setting.
Travis Zimmerle-Vigil, DL, 2025, Vanguard (FL): A problem from start to finished, the 6’3 and 210-pounder was difficult to deal.
Hunter Watson, DL, 2026, Suwannee (FL): The 6’3 and 200-pounder often times played with the poise of a more experience recruit.
Editor’s Note: When it comes to statistics from the nationwide series of All-American Combines, such as the most recent one, we’ve got you covered. For the numbers, look no further (click here).
Worth mentioning, periodically and often within days, more information about the workout will be added in this space. That said, feel free to check back on a regular basis for the much-needed insight.
Also, most participants at the recent All-American Combine will soon be provided with plenty of additional details on a potential exclusive membership to the invite-only Red Zone Prospects (click here).
Additionally, likely late in the summer, invitations will be extended to one of the brand’s upcoming All-American Bowls held at NFL stadium and nationally broadcast on ESPN’s family of networks.
Games take place at Cowboys’ AT&T Stadium, Buccaneers’ Raymond James Stadium, Falcons’ Mercedes Benz Stadium, Texans’ NRG Stadium or Jaguars’ EverBank Field, among other venues.
Moving forward, the Blue-Grey Football Selection Committee will consider a number of different factors before making any decision on potential invites to the All-American Bowl. Stay tuned.
