Blue-Grey All-American Bowl: East 31, West 24

New Mexico State commit Brodrick Malone was among the high-profile prospects to play in the Blue-Grey All-American Bowl.
Back and forth they went. Both teams scoring at will. Until crunch time. Then, defense took over. When all was said and done, in game featuring a ton of stars in the Class of 2025, East prevailed over West, 31-24, at Dallas Cowboys’ AT&T Stadium on Jan. 13.
Before, during and after the action, all eyes were on New Mexico State commit Brodrick Malone of the East. Rightfully so, considering he was one of the more high-profile prospects in attendance. He finished with five catches and 96 receiving yards.
American Athletic Conference target Peyton Renfro seemed to be in command of the offense and had a good understanding of what was expected from by the East coach and NFL veteran trainer Rodney Beasley, who won in his debut as head honcho.
Sun Belt Conference target Kam Evans got the job done on both sides of the ball for the East, as he strengthened a growing reputation. American Athletic Conference target Jonathan Walker and Sun Belt Conference target Fabian Diggs also shared the backfield.
For the West coach and NFL veteran Seneca Wallace, he called on Conference USA target Jake Gierkey and Sun Belt Conference target Brandt Barker. They delivered, with Big Sky Conference target Ian Pennock and Conference USA target Nathan Norwood.
Up front, Navy commit Gracen Gruver was a man among boys, at times, for the East. Missouri Valley Football Conference target Jimmy Johnsen and Ohio Valley Conference target Harrison Jenne also flexed their muscle and did just about whatever they wanted.
Indiana State commit Nigel Grisby anchored the defense for the East and ended up with seven tackles and three pass deflections. He had help from the likes of American Athletic Conference target Cameron McAdory and Sun Belt Conference target Jordan Newton.
Under the guidance of NFL veteran trainer Reggie Young, North Dakota State commit Drake Schlosser and Sun Belt Conference target Brandon Jones teamed up in the secondary for the West and made life difficult for opponents. From start to finish, no less.
Louisiana Tech commit Bryson Weathers, Big Sky Conference target Gabe Miller, Conference USA target Jonathan Martin, Mountain West Conference target Wyatt Hunter and Big Sky Conference target Slater Warren opened up eyes with their play for the West.
New Mexico commit James Marshall on the West nearly took home the honors for Defensive MVP. Mountain West Conference target Mason Kasitati and Big Sky Conference target George Lane made the job a bit easier for Marshall, when needed of course.
Big Sky Conference target Keion Ashjaee-Marshall and Mountain West Conference target Nakoa Kahana-Travis on the West turned heads. American Athletic Conference target Hezzie Rudisill and Sun Belt Conference target Campbell Throckmorton did so for the East.
