Blue-Grey Jersey Presentation Tour: Connor Noland
Every year, moreover right around this time, the staff from Blue-Grey Football, with a collection of NFL veterans and administrators, hits the road on the brand’s nationwide Jersey Presentation Tour.
The goal is to promote the All-American Bowl and a select few of the nation’s top prospects in the Class of 2018 are recognized in front of family and friends. The community in general, to that end.
Four games soon take place, each of them at an NFL venue, those being Dallas Cowboys’ AT&T Stadium, Tampa Bay Buccaneers’ Raymond James Stadium and Jacksonville Jaguars’ EverBank Field.
The action from the All-American Bowl will be nationally broadcast on either ESPN3 or Impact Football Network (please check your local listings). Also, similar to year’s past, the footage will be permanently archived.
One of the more recognizable names around, Arkansas commit Connor Noland from Greenwood (AR) was recently acknowledged in his hometown, and naturally, fans were out in force to support him.
The 6-foot-2 and 175-pound quarterback is all set to line up for the East vs. West on Dec. 18 at AT&T Stadium. Make no mistake about it, when he hits the field, all eyes will be on him.
Noland was the state’s No. 2 recruit in the 247Sports Composite Rankings, an accurate indicator of talent considering the tool takes into account evaluations of all the major recruiting services.
Moreover, he was the nation’s No. 12 pro-style quarterback and the country’s No. 310 prospect overall. Worth noting, the accolades were worthy after taking a closer look at his resume on the prep circuit.
Before his commitment to the nearby Razorbacks, he boasted offers from seemingly everyone in the country, including programs from within the SEC, ACC, Big 12 Conference and Pac-12 Conference.
Nevertheless, Noland apparently felt like the best fit for him would be to stay close to home and play ball in Fayetteville. First things first, however, and that’s an appearance in the All-American Bowl.
Editor’s note: Each participant in the All-American Bowl will receive a Jersey Presentation during All-American Bowl Weekend with plenty of media in attendance, both national and local.
I did enjoy the article. Proud of our Bulldog, turned Hog.
