Xenith Partners With Blue-Grey Football
In a move that’s been in the works for quite a few months now, things are finally official, Xenith is on board. More importantly, the nationally known brand will provide all of the helmets for this year’s Blue-Grey All-American Bowl. And beyond, for that matter.
Three games take place in the upcoming months. All inside of NFL facilities. The first is Dec. 20 at Dallas Cowboy’s AT&T Stadium, followed by Jan. 9 at Tampa Bay Buccaneers’ Raymond James Stadium and Jan. 16 at Jacksonville Jaguars’ EverBank Field.
During each showdown between the country’s premier prospects from the Class of 2016, and games in the foreseeable future, Xenith will be the protective gear of choice based on a number of factors, perhaps the most important of which are the many safety considerations.
NFL veteran and Blue-Grey All-American Bowl coach Arlen Harris said: “Xenith has breakthrough technology that, I think, improves our sport. That’s with all the concentration on concussions and making players more safe. I have two young boys, they both wear Xenith. If I was still playing, that would be my helmet as well.”
NFL veteran and Blue-Grey All-American Bowl coach Mark McMillian said: “Now, with bringing on Xenith as a partner, that’s a big move, a game-changer. The equipment is second to none. As a former athlete who’s played the game, and a father with a son who wears the brand, Xenith is a company that I’ll stand behind in the future.”
NFL veteran and Blue-Grey All-American Bowl coach Ken Stills said: “Xenith has a five-star rating, the highest with regards to safety, that’s the most important factor when looking for a helmet. The reviews on the comfort-factor are important, too. We look forward to a long-lasting relationship with them. This is a great partnership.”
Given the resumes of the NFL veterans on staff with Blue-Grey Football, it’s safe to say that Xenith is doing something right if it can receive ringing endorsements from one-time pros who played the game at the highest level.
“We’re thrilled to announce our partnership with the Blue-Grey All-American Bowl,” said Xenith CEO Joe Esposito. “Xenith produces helmets with industry leading technology so partnering with an elite-level event is very natural.
“We’re focused on creating the best product in the market and feedback from the nation’s All-American athletes is a great source of inspiration,” he added. “We look forward to some exciting bowl games in December and January.”
With its Adaptive Head Protection system, Xenith also excels in testing procedures. The EPIC model received the highest performance rating of all helmets in a recent study coordinated by the NFL and the NFL Players Association.
Athletes at all levels wear Xenith, including youth, high school, college and the NFL. Following the partnership announcement, you can soon add to that list the high-profile names of the participants in the Blue-Grey All-American Bowl.
